Super 8 is an analogue form of video, shot on cameras that are over 50 years old. Each cartridge of film records around 3 minutes of footage. The grain, the flicker, the way it captures light and movement is so soft and nostalgic, like something you’ve seen before in a dream. That’s why I love shooting super 8 film, It captures things in a way that feels raw, less perfect, but romantic. 

 

I started shooting Super 8 in 2020, and have always brought a camera with me while travelling, filming little moments along the way. It slowly became something I fell in love with and now it’s a big part of how I like to create. I offer super 8 alongside my photography, or as its own thing.
